Ledesma_PaulDr. Ledesma was raised in Southeast Georgia near Savannah. From there, he received his undergraduate degree at Georgia Southern University and worked as physical therapy technician for 3 years. While working for this therapy group, he also received special training as a certified aquatic therapist. After graduating cum laude from GSU, he went on to earn his doctorate in podiatric medicine degree (DPM) as well as his Masters of Biomedical Sciences at Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences in Miami Shores, Florida. He was then accepted and completed a 3 year surgical residency at Harvard affiliated Cambridge Hospital, Cambridge Massachusetts. Here he obtained advanced surgical training in the areas of adult and pediatric flatfoot reconstruction, diabetic charcot and limb salvage, and external fixation. Following graduation, he began working in private practice just outside of Boston focusing on surgical reconstruction, sports medicine, and related injuries. He has served on the Consumer Education Committee for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and worked closely with residents as an attending surgeon at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Worcester Massachusetts.

In November of 2009, Dr. Ledesma and his wife decided to relocate to Arizona to be closer to family and escape the harsh New England winters. He is also an adjunct faculty at the school of podiatry at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ.

In his spare time, Dr. Ledesma enjoys playing golf, fly fishing, scuba diving, tennis, playing the guitar, and spending time with his wife and two children.
