Dr. Bregman has been in private practice for 14 years. He completed a 2 year rigorous surgical residency program at Cambridge Hospital a Harvard affiliated teaching facility. Dr. Bregman was appointed with the responsibility of Chief resident in recognition of his clinical and professional skills and has received the "Attending of the year" award from his residents. Dr. Bregman has special interests in Peripheral Neuropathy and Pediatric foot problems and has been performed many successful reconstructive surgeries for flat feet and other congenital deformities and continues to learn the latest techniques. He also had completed advanced training in peripheral nerve surgery and is currently the president of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons. "I believe in constantly exploring new ideas and concepts if it will benefit the patient." This is evidenced by our use of TOPAZ Coblation treatment for heel pain and using the patients own blood/platelets for healing foot and ankle problems. Dr. Bregman continues to be active in teaching, lecturing around the country and writing publications in scientific journals. Dr. Bregman was raised in New Jersey and moved to the Boston area for his residency. He continued to teach and built a very successful private practice. He has traveled all over the world to expand and sharpen his skills and to help and educate others. He is very excited to be part of BFA. In his spare time you can find Dr. Bregman on the golf course or riding his Harley. He also is an avid music fan and also plays a little guitar.
